Omaha West Rotary Club Secretary Report for April 19, 2019:
This past Friday, we had three visiting Rotarians. Including Larry Johansen from Downtown, Warren Hill from Suburban, and Kevin Wycoff formerly from Sunrise Rotary in Hastings. For guests, Jill Slupe brought Elizabeth Hallgren and Nick Rosenberry brought Courtney DiGiorgio.
For good news, Luke McNeese saw a video of Kent Templien on social media and just wanted to congratulate him on his determination and the progress he has made! Jill Slupe let everyone know that Bob Fell is out of the hospital and in a rehab center. Susan Thomas shared that her daughter, Jenna, will be interning at a startup ice cream maker in Boston. Gretchen Radler was glad that she kept one sweater out of storage for the cold weather we had last week. And Rebecca Miller’s brother qualified for the Boston Marathon.
Nick closed with a joke and wished everyone a good week
